When groundbreaking artists Gorillaz teamed up with energy supplier E.ON to create an entirely solar powered music video, they chose Flux Broadcast to showcase their sun-fuelled successes.
Flux built and operated a live broadcasting solar studio. Available to the public during the day, at night the studio became a creative hub for three musicians challenged to write and record an original track in 12 hours. Flux live streamed the entire event for social media.
Across 36 hours of streaming and 20 pieces of individual content the project reached over 100k viewers across multiple social media platforms. It was so well received that Flux was asked to take the show on the road with Gorillaz, visiting venues in Munich and Budapest with the band.
Officially the closest Flux will ever get to being rock n roll.
