The Challenge
For the last few years Flux has been working closely with Michael Kors to create a series of videos to be used for social and internal delivery. From the opening of a new store to its vast and record breaking factory in The Netherlands, Flux has filmed it all for such a prestigious brand.
For the new Oxford Street store we were tasked with showing the development of the build but in a way that kept the luxury feel on brand. Using a series of time lapse cameras and a very long week we managed to create a flowing video that showed the store coming to life as it was filled with all the latest handbags and luxurious items from the Michael Kors collection
Deep in the heart of The Netherlands a distribution factory set up by Michael Kors quietly supplies the entirety of Europe with the Michael Kors collection. This super hightech factory looks like a scene from ‘Blade Runner’ with robots running around moving packages as orders from retail and e-commerce flood in.
We were asked to document this process for Michael Kors himself so he could see how his latest factory was getting on.
