Each year, media powerhouse Warner Bros. hold their Creative Exchange event, a conference designed to celebrate their successes, showcase their work and generally boost company morale. This year, they approached Flux Broadcast to develop a virtual solution which would enable them to hold this massive event online.
In 2020, more than ever, everyone could do with a morale boost. With that in mind, we wanted to keep the same energy and collaborative spirit of the original face to face event. Using the empty Warner Bros. office as a hub, we built an on-site, socially distanced gallery, along with a two-camera studio in the building’s atrium, complete with a large display screen repurposed as a digital background.
The event saw over 30 speakers from 15 locations around the world contribute to seminars and panel discussions across three days. One of our biggest challenges was delivering remote broadcasting kits to the relevant places within three days of the event.
Needless to say, the Flux team handled the pressure and the talent came through perfectly on the day.
The online conference totalled more viewers than ever before, with numerous positive impressions and some fantastic feedback from stakeholders. Watch this space for future collaborations!
