Fortnite’s innovative spirit continued with the late 2024 release of Chapter 2 Remix. Live Wire challenged Flux to create a truly special live event to mark the occasion.
Our mission: bring 40 global influencers and streamers to London’s O2 Indigo lounge and produce 20 concurrent live streams within a tight three-hour window. The logistical feat involved a single-day turnaround for rigging, broadcasting, and de-rigging, plus providing a clean beauty feed for influencers to personalize their streams.
Featuring top names like Vikkstar and Ali-A, the production transformed the familiar bedroom stream format into a high-end broadcast, capturing the energy and charisma of these online personalities for their audiences
The clock was ticking: just 20 hours to build, capture, de-rig, and maybe squeeze in a post-event toast. This incredibly tight turnaround demanded meticulous pre-production planning.
We left no stone unturned, testing every aspect of the workflow, from individual influencer PC and Discord setups to camera solutions and remote grip configurations. This preparation enabled teams to hit the ground running on-site, working independently before converging to integrate systems as we approached rehearsals.
Recognizing the demanding schedule, Flux implemented a split crew, deploying a morning rigging team and an afternoon live production team to ensure sustained energy and focus.
The dedication to pre-production detail proved invaluable, ensuring a smooth and successful live event. Within just 12 hours, we transformed the O2 Indigo lounge into a high-energy broadcast hub, delivering a premium experience for both the influencers and their global audience.
The live streams, shared across multiple platforms, amassed over 1 million views and generated significant post-event buzz. (And, for the record, the Flux team maintained a strict anti-flossing policy!)
