Flux Broadcast were asked to work with sportswear brand Adidas and Broadwick, to document 25 influencers from across Europe. From Dua Lipa to Garbiñe Muguruza and Shay Mitchell, the influencers were invited down to promote and celebrate the launch of the new adidas sportswear collection, which recognises athletes for creativity, not gender.
Flux loves a challenge and the timescale for this event certainly offered us one. We had just one day to capture everything. Our two man camera team and separate photography unit documented every single element of this jam-packed day to achieve a speedy turnaround and edit.
Our goal was to capture all the action as it happened, but also ensure we told a creative, engaging narrative. The influencers took part in yoga sessions with Soul Sisters, followed by a workout lead by boxer, Anthony Yarde. After all that exercise, they were joined by Dua Lipa for a private performance.
We definitely had an exciting challenge on our hands making sure we had the all the necessary equipment to sustain a long day of shooting, as well as keep up with the fast pace and rapidly changing environments.
After a day of intense filming in multiple locations, the Flux team gathered a plethora of quality content that later received collective views of over 500,000. Our experienced operators put together a modern, dynamic package that really captured the high energy Adidas aesthetic.
