The Challenge
Having worked together on previous broadcasts as well as the highly acclaimed Metallica Live, Universal called on flux to assist them once again in delivering a flawless broadcast within a limited space.
House of Vans is primarily an in door skate park so building and operating a fully equipment gallery to deliver on the needs of the project whilst retaining a small footprint was essential.
The Approach
On a warm Friday evening Flux descended on to the House of Vans to join Universal Music and help them stream a fantastic event for scottish band Chvrches. Our work around was to rehouse our gallery in to an extremely portable and small that could fit on top of halfpipe.
The Impact
This enabled us to still deliver the same high quality broadcast that we’re known for whilst also meeting the demands of the space. The stream went out with out a hitch and was picked up in over 25 countries with a concurrent live audience of over 40,000.
