Google and Gramafilms approached Flux Broadcast to support them in the production of the latest Google Play event at the iconic Funkhaus in Berlin.
The event played out across two stages using a multi camera set up for each gallery. Both had sessions running simultaneously, which were live cut then handed over to our post production team.
Prior to the event Google asked us to provide an on site post production facility to assist with the editing and exporting of each session, plus any additional content needed after the event.
Our main goal was to seamlessly capture footage with our multi camera setup and ensure its delivery to the edit team from each gallery based at the Funkhaus.
With each session running back to back, both production and post would work in unison with crew and footage to make sure nothing gets missed and the whole package is delivered on time, in the multiple formats required.
Our PPU and portable edit suites made sure we could set up quickly and test a variety of delivery methods onsite. The result was the most efficient workflow for Google and Gramafilms. Add to this the flexible Flux team, who produced, edited and delivered a slick show, and uploaded it before the end of the final day, which meant total peace of mind for both clients. Job done.
