The Challenge
Since 2015, Flux has live streamed all of Warner Films’ London and European premieres, delivering for films such as the Harry Potter series, Dunkirk, Batman vs Superman and Kong.
The Approach
For each event, the feed is delivered to multiple film pages on Facebook and Youtube, allowing Warner to target local markets and increase the PR reach. Flux have also worked alongside Warner and Facebook to build a system which sets pre-event copy in any language, then automatically changes to live copy when the stream begins.
The Impact
The Dunkirk European Premiere was delivered simultaneously to 58 Facebook pages, 6 YouTube pages and Twitter gaining 1 million live viewers, while Harry Potter – Fantastic Beasts gained a whopping 4.5m live views.
Looks like that famous Flux film nerdiness finally paid off…
