The Challenge
For this years Brit Awards, Bauer media asked Flux to do something a little different to the normal short form content they generate from the red carpet. Bauer wanted to capitalise on the high engagement of live streaming to ensure they were striking while the iron was hot.
The Approach
Flux sent live pictures from the red carpet to a studio 500m away using wireless RF and for nearly 3 hours the live stream was delivered across 23 of Bauers social media pages such as Kiss FM and Absolute radio in a Bauer Media first.
The resulting content included a mix of ‘on the fly’ celebrity interviews split with VT’s, giving Bauer’s viewers fresh Brit awards news way ahead of the other red carpet crews.
The Impact
This culminated in a fantastic reach and viewership for Bauer with over 30,000 live views and growing.
Fingers crossed they decide to open a live streaming award for next years Brits!
